Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager focusing on the Japanese market, you will play a pivotal role in driving our expansion efforts and managing key client accounts. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and ensuring the success of our key accounts through proactive account management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate and expand our presence in the Japanese market.

- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target client organizations.

- Drive revenue growth through effective negotiation, contract management, and upselling to existing clients.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our Japanese clients.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

- Travel within Japan as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company.


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven track record of success in new business development and key account management, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.

- 5-10 years of software sales or account management experience

- Deep understanding of the Japanese market, culture, and business practices.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Native fluency in Japanese and professional fluency English (both written and spoken)
