About the role
As a claims contractor, you will be responsible for end to end processing of auto claims in timely and efficient manner. You will handle claims where Kyte is trying to recover from customers or insurance carrier for damage to Kyte vehicles. You will be responsible to review and validate claim details, request and review repair estimates and/or invoices, attempt direct recovery from Kyte’s customers, work with Kyte’s TPA vendors for subrogation and review claims for closure with proper financials.
This will be an independent contributor role to begin with where you will be expected to deliver high performance on metrics like claims volume handled per week, SLA adherence, cycle time and recovery rate. Based on claims processing performance, there will be an opportunity to supervise other team members.
This is an hourly contract role with the opportunity to convert to full-time.
What you'll do
- Handle end to end processing of claims for glass damage, keys and tire/wheel damageIdentify, discuss, document and communicate process improvements within your area of responsibility
- Support, improve and reinforce claims processing quality standards and guidelines
- Work cross-functionally with markets, vehicle operations, comm-ops, and other teams as applicable
- Leave the claim in better state than when you found it
- Participate in team meetings to ensure understanding of priorities
Required
- Minimum 2+ years of claim processing experience
- Comfortable working with google sheets and claims management software
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision and instructions
Preferred
- Experience working for a startup
- Experience in the travel or mobility industry
- Experience implementing new claims processes
